Kudicher by Colin Isaacs

Irawarra by Colin Isaacs

 Title: Kudicher

 Title: Irawarra

Description: This piece represents the coming of the great flood. Before the great flood the female had all the power, but she got sick and then  passed the power onto the male. Since then, the male has not passed the power back to the female!

Pyrography means "writing with fire" and is also sometimes known as pokerwork. Pyrography is the art of burning or scorching a wooden surface using a variety of methods including hot wire or nib. The black lines that the burning of the wood creates look like 3D pencil lines.
