Product Information
The website is designed so you can choose from several wooden
frames into which you can insert the ceramic tile of your choice. However, if
you wish you can purchase a wooden frame or a ceramic tile separately. The Wooden
Giftware section is where you will find the popular choices
already made-up. The above
example (product on left) shows an 6" tile CI608 (The Spirit of Tasmania)
$18 and an 6" pine wooden frame $15.50. product total $33.50. If it were
an 8"
tile CI808 $22 and a 8" pine frame $20.50 and the product would cost $42.50.
The product on the right has a cedar frame. A 6" cedar frame is $18.50
and the tile CI618 $18 and the cost $36.50
|

The above product has a 3.5" tile $8.50
and a two toned cedar key hanger frame $17.50 creating a $26 product. Choose
whatever tile and frame you like. Frames are available without the hooks and
we also have two versions of an Australia frame suitable for 3.5" tiles.
The choice is yours. We have a large catalogue of images and I'm sure you will
find one you like. Most images are available in three sizes. Unfortunately,
we have not yet developed a frame for our square tiles. However, they can still
be purchased separately as a stand alone decorative item or used by woodworkers
for their own projects.
Currently, our ceramic tiles are decorative only. That is, they can not be
used as drink coasters or as household tiles, such as bathroom tiles or kitchen tiles,
or subjected to outside weather conditions. As a decorative only item, they
will last as long as you take care of them, as they are quite strong.

All our 8" tiles have a small white border.
We are currently developing an industrial
strength glaze to cover our tiles, so they can be made into coasters
and will be heat resistant. However, the process is still delivering
slight imperfections that we need to eradicate for a 100% manufacture
rate.
We retail purely as an on-line store. However,
most of our wooden giftware is manufactured at
New England Woodturning Supplies,
Ponds Road (not far from the airport) Gilgai NSW, where they are on display and also available to purchase.
Koori Artist
Authenticity
We commissioned Koori artist Colin Isaacs' to
create the art for our ceramic tiles and most of the images can be found in
Colin's portfolio of work. Colin is paid a royalty fee for every image of his,
we reproduce. Colin is a member of the Dharawal people (Sydney
Harbour / Botany Bay) on his mothers side and the Noongar People
(Western Australia) on his fathers side. Colin is currently a member
of the Ngarabal people ( Inverell / Glen Innes )

Colin is known as the Myall Creek artist, as his art is used
at the Memorial site at Myall Creek near Warialda in NSW. Colin is a versatile
artist with a broad range of style. He has images similar to the central desert
art, as well as beautiful landscapes and animals and bush themes. Colin Isaacs' style of imaging could be described as Dharawal – Eora – Goriwal – Noongar - Ngarabal. All these mobs play a part of Colin’s style. It may appear Colin
has several styles, but Colin is a prolific artist who has utilised several
mediums to display his imaging as well as create more contemporary
images.
